Dr. Renu Vashisth
Dr. Renu Vashisth in department of management has presented research papertitled “Use of Participatory Note (P-Notes) in Indian Stock Market: Determinants and Impact” in International ConferenceRecent advancements in interdisciplinary research(ICRAIR) at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand on 23rd – 24th March 2019.Research She has also presented paper titled “Volatility Spill over From Gold On Asian Equity Markets: An Empirical Analysis” in International Conference on Excellence in Research and Education (CERE)atIndian Institute of Management (IIM, Indore)on 3rd May-5th May 2019).
Apart from presentation, she also chaired session in International ConferenceRecent advancements in interdisciplinary research (ICRAIR) at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand on 23rd – 24th March 2019.

Ms. Ruchika
Ms. Ruchika in department of management has completed her Ph.D from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi in the discipline of management. She successfully defended her Ph.D viva on 14th January 2019 following which Ph.D degree was awarded to her on 15th March 2019. The topic of her research was Employer brand and intent to join in select IT companies: Students’ perspective. During her PhD, she has published three papers in international journal and has presented papers at three international conference including IIM Indore and IIT Delhi.
Dr. Ashu Lamba of School of Business Studies
Dr. Ashu Lamba of School of Business Studies department received best paper award in International conference on Business and Management held on 29-30th March, 2019 organized by Delhi School of Management, Delhi Technological University. The paper was titled “What factors affect the announcement returns around stock split announcements? An empirical evidence across S & P CNX 500 companies”. The paper was co-authored with Dr. Haritika Chhatwal, Business Management Faculty, Singapore. The theme of the conference was “Disruptions in Business- Embracing the Age of Digitalization”
Ms. Parul Manchanda
Ms. Parul Manchanda presented paper titled “Psychological Capital and Mindfulness: Role of Emotional Intelligence” at International Conference on “Issues and Challenges of Business in Emerging Economy” organised by Birla Global University, Bhubaneshwar, in collaboration with University of Ljubljana. The paper was awarded the best paper award for the conference.
CA. Ruchi Kansil
CA. Ruchi Kansil has been awarded doctorate on April 15, 2019 from Delhi School of Management, Delhi Technological University, Delhi in the area of Corporate Governance titled “Foreign Ownership and Corporate Governance Practices- A study of select Indian companies. CA. (Dr.) Ruchi Kansil has been invited as a resource person for a Faculty Development Programme on “Business Analytics and Advanced Research Methods” organized by Periyar Management and Computer College at Institutional Area, Jasola, Delhi held on 6 to 10 May 2019. The FDP covered Introduction to Business Analytics, Descriptive Analysis Using Advanced Excel, Predictive Analysis (Regression, Assumptions) using Excel and STATA, Panel Data Regression Using STATA, Analytical Application: Operations and Supply Chain Management (Threshold Regression in STATA), Introduction to software R, Machine learning Method: Regression, Sentimental Analysis, Classification and Clustering using R. Further, application of advanced excel for Financial Modeling was also covered. She delivered lectures on Panel data analysis using STATA, Data analysis using R and Financial Modelling.

Dr. Karishma Gulati Trehan
Dr. Karishma Gulati Trehan has presented the paper titled “Knowledge sharing as an imperative antecedent to organizational performance: An empirical study of IT organizations” in Conference on “Emerging Trends in Management Practices 2019” organized by Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies on 11th & 12th April 2019 and won Best Paper Award(3rd Position). She has also presented paper titled “Exploring the training methods for effective employee’s performance in IT organizations in India” along with students of VIPS, Ms. Avni Aggarwal and Ms. Khushboo Gupta in International Conference on MIDAS (Mindfulness, Innovation, Digitization, Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability) – VINC 19 organized by School of Business Studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi on 31st Jan & 1st Feb 2019 and won Best Paper Award in Technical Session Digitization, New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
Dr. Nupur Arora
Dr. Nupur Arora presented a paper with her student Mr Kanish Gupta of BBA VI semester, at VINC 2019 (MIDAS). The title of the paper was “Investigating consumer intention to adopt mobile payment systems: an Indian perspective”. The paper received the best paper award in Technical Session II: Paradigms of Marketing in the New Millennium. Ms Nupur Arora has been awarded her Phd degree in the domain of Marketing from Ansal University, Gurugram in February 2019. Title of her thesis was “A Gender specific Study of Online Consumer Interactions- An Indian Perspective
Dr. Nupur has won the “Highly commended” paper award at The 5th Biennial Indian Academy of Management Conference 2017 for the paper titled “The impact of trust on online shopping attitude among women shoppers in India “. The conference witnessed more than 180 paper presentations, various workshops, and round table discussions.
Dr. Isha Rawal
Dr. Isha Rawal was conferred ‘Best Teacher Award’ by the Institution for her distinguished service as a teacher in 2017. She received her award on the eve of Teacher’s Day on 4th September 2017 from the hands of Dr. S.C. Vats, Chairman VIPS and Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, India TV.
Dr. Rawal was also bestowed with ‘Best Research Paper Award – First Position’ for her research paper titled “Portfolio Diversification Strategies with special reference to Financial Crises in a Digitally Globalised World’ at the National Conference on Digital Interventions for Economic Growth held at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management during March 22nd – 23rd, 2018.

Awarded the third position for presenting a paper titled “Impact of Japanese stock index return on new fragile five Economies- The TodaYama Moto approach” in 31st AIMS Annual Management Education Convention held on 29th-31st August 2019 at VIPS Campus

Dr. Kritika Nagdev
Dr. Kritika Nagdev has published a paper with Mr. Mukul Arora (Student, BBA, Batch 2015-18) in a Scopus indexed journal, a paper titled ‘Educing the referral power to tap potential customer segments–a study in Indian perspective’ and over the years has encouraged and presented papers in VINC, the Annual Conference of VSBS.
She has also been awarded by the best paper award for the paper titled ‘The mediating impact of demonetization on customer acceptance for IT-enabled banking services’ by International Journal of Emerging Markets, a Scopus and ABDC listed journal of Emerald Publications.
